The initiative, the mission…..
Out of boundless enthusiasm for the mountains and the unlimited sport activities in the French Alps, Chalet Beyond was established in the spring of 2005. By creating an easy, spontaneous and natural way to spend time in the mountains we offer you the possibility to enjoy your holiday in a luxurious environment. Nothing is compulsory, but everything is possible, from grabbing a beer on a terrace in the sun to heli-skiing and to climbing up the Alpe d ‘Huez. The 4 star accommodations at Chalet Beyond will fulfill all your needs. And to complete your holiday to the max , you can book catering and / or professional coaching on the spot of one of the many mountain sports we offer.

The team of Chalet Beyond
Chalet Beyond consists of a team with three permanent employees. We also have a wide range of enthusiastic bike guides and catering assistants.
The regular team consists of Elsemarieke Spriensma, Maarten van den Enden and myself. All three are devoted athletes and just love the magical mountains. By using our passion for sports we try to offer our guests an unforgettable time in the mountains. Therefore at Chalet Beyond we keep all services in-house. This way we can give 100 % guarantee on our accommodation, accompaniment and food. You will be assured of our commitment and of the knowledge of services we offer.

Alpe d’Huez and its surroundings
We have chosen for this area for several reasons. First of all, there is a very pleasant atmosphere; the accommodations are spacious and equipped with the necessary comfort and luxury. Second reason is the large and varied ski area. Both the (far) advanced skiers and beginners will have lots of fun. And what about summertime! Also in summer season the region offers a large variety of activities. Of course there is the Alpe d’Huez, the mythical mountain for cyclists, but you can also do some fantastic mountain biking, hiking and rafting. Just enjoy the sun on the wonderful terrace of your chalet or go out shopping for a day in Grenoble. Plenty of reasons to come and visit us.
